Grüezi Swiss…

…we would like to extend our warmest greetings to Switzerland and are looking forward to pay visits to our Swiss customers for demonstrations and installations of analytical instruments.

TurbiScan Tower - TURBISCAN-Prinzip

TURBISCAN TOWER

The reasons for a visit can be found in the the TURBISCAN-series for analyzing stability of dispersions and emulsions as well as the new generation of BETTERSIZE-Instruments for particle sizes and shapes, FLUIDICAM for analysis of viscosity or IUPAC-conform measurement of micropores with gas adsorption techniques.

Stability of Dispersions and Emulsions and viscosity measurements with FLUIDICAM

Following the outstanding successes of the instruments produced by FORMULACTION in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, we will also take care of most Swiss customers from 2018 for the market leader FORMULACTION. We are honored by the trust placed in our companies dispersions department by FORMULACTION.

FORMULACTION is the markets leader in the field of instruments for analyzing stability in original dispersions and emulsions with the TURBISCAN-series. They are also providing the newest tool for analyzing viscosity with their FLUIDICAM.

FLUIDICAM RHEO

Starting from 2018, the main parts of Switzerland will be taken care of by us, while the french parts of Switzerland will be maintained by FORMULACTION directly. This is mainly due to language reasons and helps a lot with communication with potential customers. It is by no means a reason for concern, since QUANTACRHOME and FORMULACTION have worked very well together and customer requests written or spoken in german, english or french will always be directed to the correct employee.

However, FORMULACTION is not the only reason, why we will visit Switzerland more frequently:

The BETTERSIZER S3 PLUS for parallel analysis of particle size and shape

Bettersizer S3 Plus - Slider

BETTERSIZER S3 Plus

With BETTERSIZER we have acquired a new high-tech series of analytical instruments capable of measuring both particle size and shape simultaneously, which we will gladly demonstrate to you either at our headquarters laboratory or directly at your company. Within the BETTERSIZER-series, the BETTERSIZER S3 Plus stands out with the following features:

  • innovative double-lense technique for precise analysis at a range of 10 nm
  • integrated camera technique for realistic analysis results up to 3.500 µm
  • combined particle size and shape analysis with a second video camera
  • almost unbeatable price/performance ratio!

AUTOSORB iQ-MP with CryoSync

IUPAC-conform micropore analysis with gas adsorption

Especially colleges and universities have already tested our newest auxiliary device for physisorption instruments – the CryoSync. And of course we will be happy to visit you in Switzerland for discussing this unique option for the realization of IUPAC-advised micropore-measurements [Thommes et al., Pure Appl. Chem. 87(9-10), 1051-1069 (2015)]:

  • IUPAC-conform micropore analysis through Argon adsorption at 87 K without the necessity for liquid Argon – instrument requires only liquid nitrogen
  • CryoSync or CryoCooler – what is the difference? If a very broad temperature range is required, the CryoCooler allows for temperatures between 20 ‑ 300 K, which we will be provided by us of course. If only Argon adsorption is required, the CryoSync is capable of adjusting the temperature to 87 K alone. The CryoSync:
  1. is much more affordable then the CryoCooler!
  2. does not require extra bench space when used with an Autosorb-iQ
  3. operates completely silent without any pump support and is highly energy-efficient.
  • The CryoSync is available at QUANTACHROME for ANY analytical instruments performing micropore analysis by means of gas adsorption. If you have an instrument by a different manufacturer, feel free to give us a call. This should allow you to carry out IUPAC-conform micropore analysis without the need for liquid argon.

Dear Swiss, we know that there are a lot more reasons for paying a visit to your wonderful country – but we may as well combine those reasons with your interest in one of our instruments?
